On 23 May 2026, a couple who don’t live in Warsaw had just a few hours in the city — and he decided to use that short stop to propose. The spot chosen already meant something in their story: an open space with a view of the Palace of Culture and Science. With about two weeks to prepare, Harbor put together the surprise scenario, a flower-and-candle setup and on-site coordination. She said yes.

There were about two weeks to prepare. The scenario had to fit into the time the couple would spend in the city and keep the surprise intact until the very last minute.
The proposal took place in an open space in central Warsaw with a view of the Palace of Culture and Science. The spot already had a special place in the couple’s story.
That is why the concept was kept compact: the focus was on the place itself, the view of the Palace and the scenario, while the flowers and candles supported the key moment rather than competing with it.
According to the plan, the couple were meeting a friend of his in central Warsaw. For her, it looked like an ordinary meet-up during a short stop in the city.
He knew the whole scenario in advance, and the “friend” was actually a Harbor coordinator playing the part of an old friend of his. That way the meeting raised no questions, and the surprise stayed hidden.
The couple met the coordinator as arranged. He then told her that a surprise had been prepared for them and asked her to close her eyes.
With the coordinator’s help, the couple were guided to the prepared spot without giving the surprise away, and the whole sequence stayed under control.
When she opened her eyes, she saw him in front of her, proposing. Behind him was the prepared setup of flowers and candles, with the Palace of Culture and Science and central Warsaw in the background.
She said yes.
