Cookie Policy
This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies the harbor-event.com website uses, for what purpose, and how you can manage your consent.

1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files a website can store in your browser. “Similar technologies” also include the browser's local storage (localStorage) and embedded content from third-party providers. We use these technologies only to the extent described below.
The website is operated by Harbor of Events (the data controller), ul. Pytlasińskiego 16/13, 00-777 Warszawa, NIP 5214048231. Questions: the email in the “Contact” section.
2. Categories and your consent
We group technologies into three categories. Necessary ones always run; functional and analytics ones load only after your explicit consent.
- Necessary — core operation of the site, security of the enquiry form, and remembering your cookie choice. Cannot be turned off.
- Functional (off by default) — embedded YouTube case videos.
- Analytics (off by default) — measuring site traffic and performance.
You can accept all, reject optional, or choose categories individually in the banner and in the “Cookie settings” dialog. No optional category is preselected. Scrolling, continued browsing, or closing the banner does not imply consent.
3. Necessary technologies
- Consent cookie “harbor_consent” — first-party — up to 180 days — stores your cookie choice. Attributes: SameSite=Lax, Path=/, Secure (in production). Contains no personal data.
- Browser local storage (colour theme: light/dark) — first-party — until you clear it — remembers the theme you chose after you switch it yourself.
- Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise / Firebase App Check — Google — loaded only when the enquiry form is submitted — protects the form from abuse. Retention is determined by Google.
- Firebase (Google) — when the enquiry form is submitted — technical delivery of your enquiry to our back-end.
The basis for the necessary technologies is our legitimate interest in a secure and functioning website and the provision of the service you requested yourself (the enquiry form).
4. Functional technologies (with consent)
On case-study pages we show embedded YouTube videos in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Before functional consent is given the video does not load — you only see a local poster image.
After functional consent and a click on “Play”, a YouTube player is created and playback connects to YouTube/Google, which may set YouTube's own technologies. If you withdraw functional consent, the embedded player is removed and no new ones are created.
5. Analytics (with consent)
Only after your analytics consent do we use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights (provider: Vercel) to understand site traffic and performance and to improve the site.
In Vercel's current implementation these services are cookieless, but they still process technical and usage information. Before analytics consent is given, no such processing takes place. The fact that analytics is cookieless does not automatically make it necessary — which is why we ask for your consent.
6. How to manage and withdraw consent
- Open “Cookie settings” in the site footer — you can change or withdraw consent at any time, as easily as it was given.
- Withdrawal applies going forward: no new optional technologies are started. Third-party scripts already loaded within the current page may remain active until you reload — this is a technical limitation of third-party services.
- You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary technologies may break the site.
7. Transfers outside the EEA
Some providers (e.g. Google — YouTube, reCAPTCHA, Firebase; Vercel — analytics) may process data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases appropriate legal transfer mechanisms apply. More about transfers outside the EEA is available in the Privacy Policy.
