A private client came to Harbor of Events to arrange a memorable marriage proposal. We found the venue, prepared the surprise scenario and the décor, and brought together a live violin, flowers and candles into one special moment at Hotel Bellotto in Warsaw.
The client came to us with a genuine wish to make the day special for the woman he loved. The brief was simple and, at the same time, important — to arrange a marriage proposal that would stay with them for a long time.
We began by looking for a venue that would capture the elegance and romance of the moment.
Hotel Bellotto in Warsaw proved the ideal choice: refined interiors and a graceful atmosphere set exactly the right tone. We were given a separate, empty room, which the Harbor decorators dressed to the groom's wishes — with flowers, candles and lighting accents.
To keep the moment as unexpected as possible, everything was planned down to the last detail. The couple were quietly having dinner in the hotel restaurant, none the wiser. At the right moment, the waiters approached them with news of a surprise they had “won” — and invited them through to another room.
The bride-to-be was blindfolded with a soft satin ribbon to hold the suspense. When she opened her eyes, she saw her partner on one knee with the ring in his hand. Around them were floral arrangements and the flicker of candles, while the melody of the live violin gave the moment a mood all its own.
The answer was clear — “Yes”.
The event stayed with the couple, and with our team too. Afterwards, the groom thanked Harbor for the organisation — moments like these are what make our work worthwhile.
