Harbor case study

A 30th birthday that turned into a show at STIXX

Harbor of Events ran a 30th birthday at STIXX restaurant in central Warsaw — an intimate evening for 15 guests in a modern-luxury style. It paired an elegant dinner with a show programme: live music, saxophone, an illusion act and an unexpected prank, then closed with a cake and fireworks. The programme ran from 5 pm to midnight, and a Harbor curator held the whole flow together — with no separate host.

The venue and concept

The 30th birthday took place at STIXX restaurant in central Warsaw — an intimate evening for 15 guests, built around an elegant dinner with a show programme.

The concept stayed in a modern-luxury register: black, gold and dark grey in the décor, the muted lighting and the table settings. The space set the tone for the whole evening — calm, but full of moments.

The programme, from dinner to show

The programme ran from 5 pm to midnight and was arranged so the dinner moved smoothly into the live sets, and those into the show acts, with no pauses or lulls.

There was no separate host: a Harbor curator kept the evening moving, walking guests from one block to the next and keeping an eye on the timing and the mood.

Music and live performances

The music was led by a saxophonist and the cover band Vin i Vona. The saxophone brought a mix of jazz and lounge to the evening, and the cover band played live sets for guests throughout the celebration.

The live sound carried the mood — from the quieter moments over dinner to the more energetic sets closer to the finish.

The illusion act

A separate highlight of the evening was a performance by the illusionist Roman Bondarchuk. His programme included a floating-cigarette routine, a knife experiment, a cocoon-and-blindfold act and touches of hypnosis.

He performed some of the tricks close-up — right at the tables, alongside the guests — which made the act feel personal and drew people straight into it.

An unexpected prank

The high point of the evening was an unexpected prank staged as a gender party: a box labelled "Girl or Boy?", pink and blue balloons and a child's voice that sounded like part of the script.

Instead of the expected reveal, a different surprise emerged from the box: a guest from Georgia suddenly danced the lezginka — and it became one of the brightest moments of the night.

Coordination and technical support

Harbor handled the concept, the choice of performers, the timing, the coordination and the emotional pacing of the programme, along with the technical set-up and looking after guests through the evening.

The finale brought every thread together: a birthday cake and fireworks closed the night at STIXX.
